Mads Kjoeller Damkjaer is an entrepreneur and an executive design and innovation leader with over 15 years of industry and consulting experience. He is known as an entrepreneur, opinion maker and executive leader originally trained industrial designer, with an open minded and straight forward approach to design and innovation merging elements of business, contemporary culture, art, man and technology into his work.
His passion is to grow teams and companies trough motivation and leadership, to lead change through strong collaboration and influential networking. He is a pacesetting leader who believes in openness, engagement, global alliances and impact.

His many user centric innovative solutions to complex problems, has earned him several design, innovation and growth awards, the nomination as one of the Top 100 innovative business leaders under 35 in Denmark, one of the young rising stars in the Danish culture, Innovation Award handed by the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation and acclaim as one of the greatest talents in Scandinavia receiving, probably the most prestigious design award in Denmark, the Talent Award by The Danish Design Counsel and awarded the Rising Star Award in New York.

The work has been exhibited in Shanghai, London, New York , Milan, Sao Paolo, Helsinki and Tokyo, featured in international business and design publications, including Frame, Domus, USA today, Monocle and Wired and has filed numerous patents. According to Monocle his company, Goodmorning Technology, is among the best within the Danish contemporary culture.

He believes that to solve the ever-growing complex challenges of our time the world needs design and new solutions more than ever. And that design as a field should not be isolated but is and should be influenced by fields like architecture, art, advertising, business, anthropology, sociology and strategic development to accommodate the real power of the future. Mads is deeply involved in sustainable and social innovation projects.

Besides his roles in his companies, with excellent expertise in product roadmapping, Mads is involved as consultant on innovation for Philips. He is an ambassadeur for the non profit organization youme shopping and a professional board member among other places in the Danish Design Association. He is often used as jury member in competitions and is involved as visiting teacher and speaker at different universities among others The Royal College of Art and The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Art, the Design School, where he is also appointed examiner. He also teaches executives and leaders in design thinking, social innovation, brand building, business prototyping and innovation management.

Mads is educated MA in Industrial design from whats now called The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Art, the Design School, prior to that he studied at the Academy of Building Engineering and later studied LED illumination at RISØ / Danish Technical University, department of Photonic, he is a graduate from Yale University, Yale School of Management in Leadership development and Innovation Management and he has an Executive CBA in International Business Administration from AVT Business School with studies in Copenhagen and at Harvard, the first part of his MBA.
